WhatsApp Link Generator
Enter your country code, your number and an optional message, and you get a wa.me link to copy and its QR code to download.
It appears already typed in the chat, and the person can change it before sending.
Hi, I would like more information
Enter your country code and your number to generate the link.
A QR code holds the number in the open: anyone who scans it can read it.
What to know before you print your WhatsApp QR code
The QR code from this generator holds the full link. That decides what you can change later and how big it has to be.
Static or dynamic
This QR code is static: it holds the link itself and goes through no service in between. Its content can't change after printing. A dynamic QR code holds an intermediate address that lets you change the destination, but it depends on that service staying up.
Print sizes
A long message gives the code more modules, so it needs more room to scan well. For print, use SVG, which keeps its quality at any size. Before you print the full run, test the code with your phone, on paper, from the distance people will scan it.
Where to use your link or QR code
- Your Instagram profile
- The contact button on your website
- Your email signature
- A sign at your shop
- Your product labels
How the link is built
The link is https://wa.me/ followed by your number with its country code, digits only. If you write a message, it's added at the end in the format browsers understand, which is why spaces and commas show up as codes.
The link and the QR code are generated in your browser. Your number and your message aren't sent to any server.

It appears already typed in the chat when someone opens the link, and they can change it before sending. It helps you see where an inquiry came from, for example: "Hi, I saw the sign at your shop".
It has no expiry date: the link is text with your number and your message, and it works as long as that number is on WhatsApp. If you change numbers, generate a new one.
No. Everything is generated in your browser and the number isn't sent to any server. Keep in mind that anyone who gets the link or scans the QR code can see the number.
